Owner & Manager, LBP
Stef studied at Otago Polytechnic, graduating with a Bachelor of Design (interiors) with merit in 2011. She upskilled by taking some drafting papers and then started working for Dunedin-based architectural designers and an architect.
Prior to studying to become an architectural designer, Stef was a pharmacy technician for twelve years. What she retained from her first career is her uncompromising focus on customer service and satisfaction.
When she worked for Dunedin architect Bryan Menzies starting in 2013, Stef really honed in on her construction knowledge. Running her own residential and light commercial projects within the firm, Stef says Bryan was a great mentor and teacher. Spotted Ink was created in 2016 with Stef becoming a Licenced Building Practitioner (LBP).
Today, the Spotted Ink team has a full schedule of full and partial residential renovations, residential new builds as well as light commercial projects. Stef manages a team of two full-time employees and a number of contractors.
